1978 XC Falcon Hardtop, one of the very last coupes built September 78. 1 of 2 built in this combo Factory V8 (non matching numbers) manual Sno White. Period correct mild 351 still with Carter Thermo-quad carb. Car is fully registered in NSW till May 2024.
New 9in 31 spline axles with Tru-Track LSD (3.0 gears and disc brakes all round (less than 1,000km old), new big yolk tail shaft, so it is ready to take a big HP engine if that is your desire. It does sound great as is just not quick
The car is not a show car, appears to be rust free. Has had an ok paint job 15+ years ago and has some light hail damage that can be easily popped out by a dent removel person
Interior is good but the drivers seat does have some wear (easy replacement) from my barge arse, rest of the seats are great
I have had the car for many years and kept it as is it is. It’s an enjoyable drive with the manual transmission and great sound. This car can be kept as is and enjoy or you could do a little tidy up and enjoy it more or put a tough engine in it a really enjoy it. Great car with options on what to do with it
Every thing works on it bar the factory radio and sometimes the temperamental tacho,
